Sacre for one (2016)
Created as the second instalment in Parker’s ‘anarchival’ trilogy, Sacre for one is a continuation and a reimagining of an earlier collaborative work, The Leftover Sacre. The work explores the potential of a single body to remember, archive, and disseminate multiple versions of the iconic ballet, The Rite of Spring. The work received a Silver Standard Bank Ovation Award at the National Arts Festival and a silver Fringe Fresh Award at the Cape Town Fringe.
